Zidane from France is the footballer who has received the most punishments. In the 12 matches of three World Cups, he received four yellow cards and two red cards, one of which was received because of the famous head-butting incident in the finals in 2006.

The champion will get a gold trophy, i.e. the World Cup Trophy. The second and third place will get medals. As for the fourth place, they will just receive a book of certificates.
- Which team didn’t concede any goal but still got eliminated?
In the 2006 World Cup Germany, Swiss was the top team in the group matches with two wins and one tie. In round of 16, Swiss tied Ukraine 0-0 after regular time but lost to Ukraine on a penalty shoot-out. In all four matches, Swiss didn’t concede a goal though they still got eliminated, and they are the only team that has experienced this in the history of World Cup.

The oldest footballer in the World Cup is Dino Zoff, the goalkeeper from Italy. He held the trophy at the ages of 40 in 1982. Unfortunately, Italy failed to qualify for the 2018 World Cup.

Ever since the World Cup was held, Germany has gone through four penalty shoot-outs and didn’t lose any of them. On the other hand, England has been on three penalty shoot-outs but didn’t win any of them.
